About Us
We at Professional Pet and House Sitting of Washougal, LLC are long-time animal lovers with a pet and house sitting service in Washougal, Washington. We take care of a small number of pets and/or homes at any given time, ensuring that your pet and/or home receive all of the attention that they deserve while you are away.
We have reasonable rates, can take care of your pets at our house or yours (pet sitting*) for an hour or a month, and/or keep an eye on and take care of your home while you are away. We are honest, responsible, and compassionate.
Elisa is a lifelong pet owner and animal rights advocate, a member of the ASPCA, and a responsible, compassionate and loving companion for your animals. She is a retired faculty member of the University of Kansas (KU - Lawrence, Kansas), having lectured in the French and Italian Department for several years. Elisa graduated from the University of Naples Federico II with a B.A. and M.A. in Languages and Literatures (English and German) and is an expert in English literature with a specific focus on Shakespeare, the Brönte sisters (Emily, Anne and Charlotte), and George Eliot.
Chris is also an animal lover as well as a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and Licensed Professional Counselor (MO) with a B.A. in psychology and M.S. in clinical psychology from California State University Los Angeles. He served in four combat zones over a five year period during his 20 year career in support of Operations JOINT ENDEAVOR (Bosnia), ALLIED FORCE (Kosovo), SOUTHERN WATCH (Iraq), and ENDURING FREEDOM (Afghanistan).

Rates:
Pet Sitting
Daily Rate - $45 (Our Home - 24 Hours)
Hourly Rate - $15 (Our Home - Per Hour)
Hourly Rate - $20 (Your Home - Per Hour)
Daily Visits** - $15 (Your Home - Per Visit)
NOTE: Prices for more than one pet will be calculated on a case-by-case basis depending on type of pet, size, location, and other factors. For example, the Daily Rate for one small/medium/large size pet would be $45 with an additional $10 for each additional pet.
House Sitting
Daily Visits - $15 (Per 20 Minute Visit)
Overnights - $45+ (Case-by-Case)
*All pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Cats and larger animals (over 75 lbs) can only be cared for in your own home. Please contact us for details regarding your situation.
** Daily Visits include feeding (pets), watering (pets), letting out/walking. We can also water plants, collect mail and newspapers, turn lights on/off, adjust thermostat, and other small tasks for an additional $5 per visit.
NOTE: All pet owners must make arrangements for emergency veterinary care while away, providing the vet's name and address, hours, a suitable pet container (for transportation) for each animal, and a form of payment. Owners must sign an aggressive animal waiver and release Professional Pet and House Sitting of Washougal, LLC of any and all liability associated with pet and/or house sitting services.
